Volunteer Vacancy: BSL Interpreted Pantomime Event Organiser

Cinderella was the Panto last year

PDDCS are looking for a volunteer to help us run one of our best events of the year.

Every year, PDDCS organises a trip to the Pantomime at the Key Theatre for our families and this year we need someone organised and super-cool to get the show on the road.

Ideally you'll have some experience of organising small trips or events, be a happy sort-of-person, be interested in meeting deaf people and children and want to make a difference to your local community.

All expenses that are incurred will be paid for and when all the happy kids leave the theatre full of ice-cream and happy memories, you'll be Peterborough's No.1 volunteer.

It's a one-off task that our small charity needs help with or the Panto is off this year.

Here's what's involved:

• Write an advert for our website and email
• Purchase tickets from Theatre
• Organise sale of tickets to families
• Management of the monies
• Liaising with theatre
• Organising free ice cream for deaf children
• Becoming a hero

The Panto is back in town .. Oh no it isn't .. Oh yes it is!

It's Panto time again! This time it is the classic Mother Goose at Peterborough's excellent Key Theatre. PDDCS have discount tickets to a signed performance! They always sell out so be quick and get yours soon.

Following on from the initial post in March - a reminder the Panto - signed performance- this year is Aladdin.

When: Saturday January 7th 2012
Where: Key theatre, Peterborough
Time: 4pm show starts

Cost: deaf children - £2.50

all other tickets are £8.00 (normal price £14.00)

I know its only March but ... The Panto has been booked!

And it's going to be Alladin! PDDCS has 100 seats for the production at the Key Theatre, Peterborough on Saturday 7th January 2012..

As usual, deaf children will go free and the performance will be sign language interpreted - more details and how to book later in the year..

Panto Tickets Available Now

PDDCS Members received booking forms for tickets to this years Panto - Jack and the Beanstalk.

The Key Theatre on the Embankment in Peterborough is the venue for this years festive extravaganza on January 8th 2011 at 4.30pm.

Deaf Children go free but all other tickets are £7.50 which is almost half price.
