Deaf girl allegedly kept as a slave

This week brought to the headlines the shocking story of a deaf girl trafficked to the UK. Over the last decade the young orphaned child from Pakistan had allegedly been kept in a cellar as a slave. Details of the story are available at BBC News

Vulnerable adults and children are the main victims of human trafficking. UNICEF estimate 1.2 million children are trafficked every year.
