Family Fun Easter Activities

Jack Hunt School has confirmed sign communication support can be made available should a deaf young person in Peterborough wish to attend any of the wide array of Easter holiday activities. There are family based activities available.
Communication support must be made in advance.
All activities must be booked in advance to secure a place.

Sense are looking for Holiday volunteers!

Request from Sense:

Could you offer a week of your time and your communication skills this April or summer?

"Whilst volunteering, accommodation, meals and activities are paid for and travel expenses are provided for volunteers who are students,unwaged or would be otherwise prevented from volunteering on a holiday for financial reasons.

Our current holidaymakers use a range of communication including speech, BSL, hands-on signing, and deafblind manual. We are particularly keen to encourage potential volunteers with relevant communication knowledge, skills or experience to apply."

Holiday Plus for older people - 14th April to 21st April and 21st April to 28th April, 2012
Deadline for volunteer applications: Tuesday 31st January
Summer Holidays for children, young people and adults - week long holidays between 20th July and 25th August, 2012
Deadline for volunteer applications: Friday 30th March
