Well if you can't find the time to attend a course once a week for a few terms then here is your opportunity to learn BSL. It's a one-week intensive course starting on April 9th that costs up to £645, including full board, accommodation and assessments.
BSL Level 1 is considered as the elementary level, with level two intermediate and level three an advanced level. Sign language interpreters can begin work after completing level three but are only recognised as being able to work in all settings after being assessed at level 4 and having taken a recognised interpreter course. Sign language interpreters can expect to earn upwards of £35 per hour.
