Despite much expressed interest no one attended this workshop.
The tutor does deliver weekly workshops to deaf students in the local primary and secondary schools with Enhanced Resource Provisions for Hearing Support. All the students love those sessions.
The tutor is running another workshop this Easter. This time it is open to families of deaf students.
I went to the beginner's drumming workshop at JHS on Wednesday and it was great! I've never on a real drum kit before and I loved it. I was the only deaf student there but Martin was really nice and Nicky Stevenson was my interpreter - she's a lot of fun and is really good:) I'd like to drum every week but at the moment I can't because I go to school in Derby.
