Deafprofessionals Network is hosting the following event
"Paula Garfield, best known for her role as Artistic Director of Deafinitely Theatre, has been an actress for her entire career. Having taken part in several productions with hearing-led companies, she faced many barriers as a deaf actress. This presentation tells her story of how she set up Deafinitely Theatre with Kate Furby and Steven Webb, and her journey through education and working life to where she is today. Paula will also tell us of her triumphs and successes, as well as hardships, and explore what it means to be a Deaf professional in the world of performing arts.
