Springs Dance Company presents signed performance...

News in of a fantastic signed performance in Peterborough by the Springs Dance Company. The Selfish Giant is loved by the people who have seen it and now its the chance of deaf children and their families in Peterborough. There is also a workshop afterwards.

Here is the story...One day, a Giant returns home to find children playing in his beautiful garden. He builds a high wall all round it, and puts up a notice board saying “TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED”. Nobody wants to be with the Giant except the wind, rain and snow, and his garden remains locked in a wintery chill. But one morning as the Giant lies awake in bed, something is different…

Audiences had this to say about The Selfish Giant 2011 tour:

My 6 yr old daughter thought it was fabulous...Excellent ..Gorgeous bit of magic for me- and I am 44!...The standard was superb, the choreography wonderful...Has inspired me!...One of my favourite children's stories - well presented ...Don’t miss it
Also there will be a family fun creative movement workshop based on The Selfish Giant which the dancers from Springs Dance Company are running in the afternoon from 3-4pm. This will be held in the church hall, which also has a loop. Workshop must be booked with show ticket. Hopefully see you there!
