As we departed the grounds after the long day of workshops, it brought a smile to the young people's faces to see the University students were still buzzing with their newly acquire sign knowledge and deaf awareness, sharing it with their peers who had attended other workshops.

I recently attended college counseling and I said to the counselor that I wanted to attend Cambridge and he believed that I can go to that university. His advice and insights made me confident that I can attend any university that I wished to.
ReplyDeleteThis is evidence that people with disability has no disadvantage when it comes to competing with of the highest level. The workshop also brings confidence to others that are gifted but hindered by their current stature in life.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do agree with Shawn, having a disability must not stop a person from reaching his goals in life. Learning doesn’t stop there; I hope this could inspire other people with other problems that in learning. There are many ways on how to solve these problems we just have to be positive and look for possible solutions.
