The University of Wolverhampton will be hosting its Deaf Learner Open Day on the 2nd
May 2014. It is a free event, open to Deaf and hard of hearing young
people accompanied by their teachers/support staff or parents.
"The event
is aimed at those who are at school or college, year 10 onwards, however, if
there are pupils in year 9 who you feel would benefit from this visit,

know what university has to offer their children, may also attend.
We will be providing information
about university life and study, the types of support available and
funding. Visitors will also be able to ask questions of our specialist
staff, have a tour of the university and meet our deaf and hard of hearing
students. The programme is available on the University website.
