We're looking for a paid playleader - could it be you?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced play leader to lead our team of volunteers and children at our annual summer playscheme.

The position is paid and there is no need for experience of working with deaf children as training and on-going guidance will be provided. We will also have communication supporters on hand.

The role is paid and the rate is open to negotiation.
We're looking for someone with:
  • Experience with working with children as young as 5
  • Someone to plan a week long schedule from 9am to 3pm daily
  • Can work from 17th August at Jack Hunt School
  • Energetic and passionate about children having fun
  • Good at working with assistants
  • Willing to adapt communication style to suit varying levels of deafness
  • Preferably a teacher or teaching assistant or play leader looking for some extra experience and pay in the holiday
Its a great and rewarding job that helps bust the isolation often experience by deaf children in the school holidays.

If you're interested in the role, please get in touch by email or phone to our Chairman, Andy Palmer on andypalmer177@hotmail.com or 07949 571173
